The Florida United Methodist Foundation is honored to announce its sixth consecutive CEFEX (Centre for Fiduciary Excellence) certification, reinforcing its commitment to the highest standards of fiduciary excellence and accountability.
The CEFEX certification is a globally respected mark of operational integrity, awarded to organizations that rigorously adhere to fiduciary best practices. This recognition comes after a comprehensive audit, which evaluates the foundation’s investment management policies, procedures, and stewardship efforts.
“We are proud to once again receive the CEFEX certification,” said Rev. Ed New, President and CEO of the Florida United Methodist Foundation. “Our mission is to faithfully steward the financial resources entrusted to us by our ministry partners. This certification affirms our ongoing dedication to integrity, transparency, and accountability in all that we do.”
This milestone highlights the foundation’s unwavering efforts to responsibly manage funds that support the Christian ministry. The certification process examines critical areas such as risk management, investment selection, monitoring, and fiduciary responsibility.
By upholding these standards, the Florida United Methodist Foundation continues to offer top-tier services in endowment management and investment services, and it plans to give support to churches, agencies, and individuals.
“Our commitment to fiduciary excellence strengthens the trust we’ve built with donors, partners, and stakeholders,” said New. “This certification reflects our passion for managing resources in a way that aligns with our values and ensures sustainability for the ministries we serve.”
