The Florida United Methodist Foundation is excited to announce the addition of Cindy Burmann to our team as Development Officer. Cindy brings a wealth of experience in education, community outreach, and relationship-building that will greatly benefit our ministry partners.
Cindy joins us from Bok Tower Gardens, where she served as Director of Education. In that role, she led initiatives focused on sustainability, community engagement, and educational outreach. Her leadership helped foster strong connections with local organizations and built meaningful programming that served diverse audiences.
Cindy holds a Master of Education from George Mason University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Athletic Training with a minor in Chemistry from Florida Southern College.
Elena Nicholas, Director of Development, shared her enthusiasm for the hire: “I am thrilled to welcome Cindy to our Development Team! She will be a remarkable asset as she builds relationships with clergy and congregations in the Northern and Southwest Districts. Her work will play a vital role in furthering our mission of supporting and empowering Christian ministry across Florida.”
Cindy’s first day with the Foundation was July 1. Please join us in welcoming her as she begins this important new chapter in ministry and service.
