Four members of our Foundation team traveled to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, this month to participate in the 2025 National Association of United Methodist Foundations Annual Meeting, held October 20–22. This annual gathering brings together foundation leaders from across the connection to share best practices, deepen expertise, and strengthen partnerships that support vibrant ministry in local churches.
Throughout the gathering, our team engaged in learning focused on strategic planning, stewardship growth, investment trends, and the evolving landscape of church finance and generosity. We also joined collaborative conversations with colleagues nationwide, exploring creative ways to empower congregations, expand legacy giving, and sustain ministries that transform lives.
We return home with fresh ideas, renewed energy, and stronger networks to advance our mission here in Florida. Opportunities like this remind us that when United Methodist foundations learn and plan together, we multiply our impact and strengthen the Church for generations to come.
