Destiny Church of Jacksonville has always been a church built on faith. For more than 13 years, we’ve been mobile. We’ve met in a real estate office, a restaurant, and a movie theater. Every Sunday meant loading in and loading out, but we never stopped believing that God had more in store.
Now, that belief is turning into something we can finally see. We’ve officially broken ground on our new facility at the corner of Sunbeam and Craven. This isn’t just a construction project. It’s the result of prayer, perseverance, and a vision to reach people and build lives that are rooted in Christ.
We’re incredibly thankful for the Florida United Methodist Foundation. From the first conversation, they’ve made us feel like more than clients. They’ve believed in our vision and walked alongside us with genuine encouragement and support. They didn’t just help us with financing. They helped fuel the dream.
What’s ahead is exciting. A 16,100 square foot building where people will meet Jesus, where families will grow in their faith, and where generations will be changed. We’re not just building a church. We’re building a legacy. And we’re grateful that the Foundation is part of the story.
